Greetings! Finally, the second official WeenRadio newsletter. Ween officially starts the Northeastern US mini tour this Friday in New Jersey! - - - HOWEVER, there will be a warm up show in the remote hills of PA. This will be a first come first served show at a small bar/truck stop on Wednesday the 21st. Tohickon Tavern, 7673 Easton Road, Ottsville PA, 610-847-5297 - Show at 9:30pm - $10.00. Again, first come first served.

More important news, WeenRadio.com will be broadcasting Ween Live from Higher Ground this coming Sunday. Doors for the show are at 8pm EST. So, stop by WeenRadio.com around that time and sit back and relax. We are going to attempt something new with this broadcast. We are going to broadcast two streams, one in stereo for people with cable modems, dsl, and lan connections and one in mono (like normal WeenRadio) from the phone modem users. As with all our broadcasts, things can go wrong (and they have many times). Hopefully we are getting better at this! The Higher Ground folks are awesome. Go to as many shows at their place when ever you can.

Everyone should jump into the chat room during the broadcast. It will likely be the most packed its ever been. If we get all set up in time, we may even broadcast the Sound check and have a quick chat with Ween online. So, stop by as early as you can.

WeenRadio offers a simple web interface to this newsgroup for your enjoyment (similar to what DEJA.com used to be). For those of you new to AMW, this is the best place for you to hook up with others to get live CDs of Ween shows. Keep a watch here for people offering to trade shows. We thought it would nice to offer up a couple MP3s for you all. This may become a monthly feature if it is well received.

Mountain Dew - Live from November 1st, 1991 Eindhoven, Netherlands. This is a great rare track. Its sound quality is very dirty, but a great track none the less.

I Can't Put My Finger On It - Live from September 2nd, 2000 Munich, Germany. A wonderful version of ICPMFOI. The chant is quite interesting.

Ben - Astronaut Wives - This is an unreleased track from Ben. This track was recorded in 1993 and features Dean Ween on guitar. Some of you may already know Ben from his other highly requested track Crispy Crackly Dave. For more information on Ben go to http://www.orangeentropy.com/Ben/
